Industrial Building Typology

A collection of photographs illustrating industrial building typology through the ages. Included in this compilation are derelict, soon to be de-commissioned and modern industrial buildings. For example the photograph of the brick built cone is set against the modern buildings at the oldest operating glass works in Europe based in Alloa. I seized this opportunity to take a range of photographs of the Grangemouth oil and petrochemical refinery as it soon to be de-commissioned and the built environment in Grangemouth will change again.
